Too bad there aren't any mountains in Oswego county hit by all that lake effect snow recently. Lots of powder, but no vertical.
I learned at Snow Ridge in Turin, N.Y. before moving to So. CA. Now I hit Mt. Baldy after storms (so far no local storms to speak of this year, tho.). I need to get back to SLC. I went once about 15 years ago when my brother was stationed at Hill AF Base north of SLC.
