Weather is unseasonably warm here however a nice cold front seems to be working this way from the upper mid-west. Shawnee Mt.'s planned opening on the 24th seems a bit wishful as it looks right now but with a couple of weeks of 25-30 degree nights, who knows? You guys out there in Montana and Wyoming---Please send us some COLD!!!!!!!!
 
Just when you think its gonna get going Mother Nature throws you a curveball. Snowmaking was going great at most of the Pocono slopes until they had to shut em down today because of warm weather. Shawnee, which opened last Friday, will be closed for the remainder of the week and should reopen on the 1st of december. Camelback has been blowing since the 17th but they too have had to turn them off for a bit. Not sure of their opening date. AMI says the 26 (today?) but I don't think so. Blue Mountain is anyone's guess.
