How does powdermountain recieve 500 inches when Snowbasin doesn't calim anything near to that. Methinks that number must be somewhat dubious.

All of Powder Mountain's marketing materials claim 500", as do the web sites that merely repeat those claims. According to Tony Crocker's figures, Powder Mtn does get more than Snowbasin (remember how much topography and location impact the equation), but he puts Snowbasin at 310" and Powder Mtn at 400".

I have been comparing Snowbasin and Powder Mt. for about 3 seasons. Powder Mt. is probably around 350. Certainly not any more than 375.
