After a harrowing 3.5 hour drive from Boston(what the heck does Boston need 1/2 foot of snow for anyway??!!), we pulled into Ragged's practically empty parking lot. The weather in southern NH and MA probably kept a lot of people at home today. Looked like Ragged had recieved 3-6 inches of new stuff over night and there were lots of freshies to be found. Yo-yoed between the Northeast Peak Double, the Summit Double, and the Spear Peak Triple. Skied right onto the lift each and every time. Run of the day was Glades (a blue square glade). Plenty of loose and fresh powder in morning, got bumped up by afternoon. Other run of the day was Flying Yankee. We were knee-deep in the morning, again got bumped up by afternoon. <BR>Well worth the drive from Boston, even if it took over an hour longer than normal. Can't beat the $39 lift ticket price either. Best day of skiing this season so far for me!
