Quandary catching rays caught my eye this morning.
I was skinning up one side of Red Mountain while the sun crawled up the other and it hit the cornice just before we did.

We came to a rest on the flats in the meadow where my zoom lens works better than the fish-eye.
Matt 11, Winter 4.
Snow was wind whipped and cream cheesy all the way down to where Winter took a rest and surveyed the scene.
From there into the trees, it was a bit more like powder. The sun played hide-and-seek with clouds while I did the same with Winter, in the same south-facing (thin cover) trees we did the other day:

Then, we exited into someone?s unfinished business, and after that we went wee wee wee all the way home.
