Revelstoke 12/28

Off for the winter as of yesterday and having already exceeded the recommended lifetime dose for PM2.5 decided to head 7 hours northeast of Seattle rather than 13 southeast.

Coverage here is good - the woods could use more base but the bowls and runs were nice. A cloud hung over the top of the Stoke chair so I didn't bother hiking the Subpeak. It was busy for Revelstoke - a 5 minute line on the Stoke. No moguls except on the lower mountain.

Soft packed snow - no chalk.

Hope it snows in SLC so I can go home but until it does I am staying here. 3 days of touring at Rogers Pass Tues-Thurs and a possible hut trip next weekend.

Thanks Marc!

Maybe 3" today (Sunday) but when it is dense it doesn't take as much.

The traverses here don't have sideways moguls, rocks, and snow fences. What fun is that?

It takes 15 minutes to ski down - that is without stopping.

Big snow tomorrow inbounds then into the backcountry.
