Rime snow at KSLC

The is massive fog ans rime snow at KSLC and we were very lucky to get in according to the pilots. If we had come in 30 minutes earlier we would've diverted to Boise! Lucky for us we were running late. Sadly for us there were massive back ups at the gate due to the fog keeping planes from getting out so we sat on tarmac for 30 minutes. I guess this is pretty unusual but at least it allowed me to sign up for quickstart at deer valley.

Just at KSLC. Should be sunny and beautiful above the inversion in the mountains. Enjoy Dear Valet!

There is plenty of soft untracked in the trees. The trick is finding it!
 
Prolly good because they were fried in animal lard. :lol:

Didn't go veggie, just cut my animal intake. I only eat meat with dinner now, and stick to a vegetarian diet for all other meals. I feel much healthier since.

As far as the skiing, I was shocked at the amount of boot deep (sometimes more) there was hidden in the trees. I would say a good 1/3 of my runs were untracked. Sadly I had one fall where my left ski slammed into my leg and now I have a bruise/welt the size of Montana just south of my knee and north of my boot cuff.
