San Juan Cat Skiing deal- $180

I think there's a lot of south exposure, as it's across the valley from Purgatory. So you want to make sure the snow is fresh, especially from now on in the season.

My brother has taken employees (who stick around the entire season) here on an appreciation day. They have been extremely lucky and getting new snow at the end of March/early April.

Otherwise, I just would not bother.

The terrain is relatively mellow, meadows & trees. Fun. But not worth a special trip.

uhmhmhmh( the sound of clearing your throat)- Silverton is like 45 min further down the road. $129 guided, you could always get your rocks of there!

Of course, but the discussion was about San Juan Snowcat.....not Silverton.

Silverton is typical Telluride terrain, but more restricted.
