We awoke to strong winds and heavy snowfall. I checked the early reports on CAC and it was high danger, no doubt. We got about 80cm overnight and with the drifting it was a no go morning. So we had a leisurely breakfast and I started a book and enjoyed the banter. It was just howling outside. Lunch came and went.
Then the wind clocked and drifted in the $hitter. Hey, down days are OK, right? At least you're not at work. Then it cleared.

Lower down on Lodge run. I wished I had my Lib Tech but deep is deep.
Hiking up the glacier. We started late at 3:00, so we hiked up the valley to scope out later in the week. This place is sick.
The days are getting longer fast at these latitudes. We're already talking about coming back next year.
