Wanted to post some summer skiing stoke here.Hope everyone enjoys it..
Started the day with a nice drive up Tioga Pass Road and came across the slide path.
I had read an article on TelemarkTipps describing a rock slide that happened here.

Some serious car smashing boulders.
Drove by the Saddlebag Lake turnoff.Gate is still closed. That was our destination today.Too late to hike back there.
On to Gaylor Peak which looks pretty good still.
Big Tims wife car dropped us higher up the road for a easy backside climb.
Took this pic of the Tioga Pass gate entrance to Yosemite on the climb up.Lots of tourists today.
Topped out in 50 minutes.Tioga lake is behind me.
Big Tim dropping in.
Can`t beat the views here while skiing.
The sun cups kept things interesting
Once past the choke it opened up for some fun turns.
Skied all the way to the access road.My skis are pointing to our descent.
Finished it off with a BBQ to celebrate another day in the mountains.Good Times.
Still plenty of snow around for summer turns right now.And NO MOSQUITO'S YET!
