While I am both surprised and impressed that they did that; it still remains 70 vertical feet (at most) of one very short beginner run... Can you even slow down enough to make the run last 15 seconds?

That run was my first ever time on skis in Dec. 1975.

Looks like there is some real snow dropping out west. The Colorado Rockies/Phillies game has been postponed due to: SNOW.

Turned to mid-january in these parts the last several days. Not just record lows; new records by like 10 or even 15 degrees colder than ever recorded in these parts. Denver only got an inch or two. The bulls eye was basically along I-80 further north Where of course i had to drive this weekend. Anyway since i didn't ski, thought I'd throw some pics of snowy life up since so many seem to be in a rough mood while waiting for snow.

ps and the football game I hit turned out to be 25F at the start and colder from there! No fall at all!
