Neat little area. Its about 10 minutes off Rte 495.

The mountain is definitely a beginner's mountain, which is fine...the place has a good local feel to it. A double chair is the main lift (really cool old Mueller double too), serving about 4 intermediate slopes. There was a little mogul field for aspiring skiers too. Vertical drop was 200', just enough to make a few turns down.

While I wouldn't go here for expert skiing, it was a much better experience than Blue Hills earlier this week. The attendants were friendly, the ticket seller was too, and the people in line were much more enjoyable. A great place to take your kids.

They have a website...www.skiward.com.

Jeremy
www.nelsap.org
