I recently posted from when I skied in Shanghai this summer and since not that many folks have skied indoors in China, I dug out my pix from when I skied in Shenzhen, China, which also has an indoor ski area.
I have to say I really had a bit of fun in Shenzhen. They had a Poma that pulled you up the "slope" - although, please note, Poma's are kinda chilly when your wearing shorts to ski in
The snow was firmer in Shenzhen, so it was actually skiing. They thought we were crazy Americans skiing, because we were all laughing so hard going down the run. I watched an adult ski class and found it interesting as they did Calisthenics before even starting to learn to ski. When I was there, snowboarding seemed to be more popular than skiing, as was the tubing hill.
All in all, it was a good bit of fun!
