"Utah's Greatest Snow on Earth is the perfect way to start your ski season. Pray for snow and hopefully you will be lured to the slopes by early season champagne powder.

Come take advantage of the early season and beat the crowds.

I smell spam. Anyone who goes to Utah pre-Christmas and stays/skis in Park City instead of the Cottonwoods is nuts IMHO. Or they really like to ski rocks instead of pow.

I live at the base of Little Cottonwood and ski and tour the Cottonwoods exclusively. But when I talk to the average family about skiing in Utah, I suggest the Park City experience - dining, shopping, etc. Additionaly the average intermediate skier will come home from a Deer Valley vacation feeling like he is a better skier (because of the extensive grooming) - that's just my 2 cents worth...

Live there or not, it's still spam.

I agree with the description of Park City's virtues. But snowfall is average and preservation slightly worse than average by overall standards of the Rockies. Thus I believe Park City is best visited in the mid-January to mid-March core of the season.

Mom used-ta winter in Park City for a number of years. I agree with Tony. Deer Valet and the Canyawns are unreliable at that time of year. I wouldn't book anything non-refundable.
