Snow at Alta this morning

Thanks to Skrad for pointing this out to me:

Yesterday's view looked like it could be snow but I was skeptical. I'm skeptical no longer.

I was hoping to have the first snow picture up but no such luck.
This is Mt. Timp from the Alpine Loop, looking at the NE face where it snowed this afternoon.
Surprisingly, there are also pockets of left-over snow in coulouirs at the 8K level.

Nice photo of Timp, Eisengrim! We were looking at those old snow patches from a distance on the road from Kamas to Park City as we were returning from the Uintas yesterday, which are surprisingly large for this time of year.
