Snow Valley Slide Peak

Slide Peak has a decent steep pitch but it's short, maybe 400 vertical.

The top is 7,800, lower than Snow Summit's 8,200 or Bear's 8,800. Being on the front side of the San Bernardinos means 2x as much natural snow as Big Bear but also warmer, so more rain from marginal storms like Monday.

Oh, heard that a summit at Snow Valley was higher than Big Bear Resorts from a patrol and past pro snowboarder for Simms. He happened to grow up in the area, so, thought he knew. I don't track that. Just heard Slide Peak was a good place to ski and get back country. Too much thunder, lightening, and poor visibility today.
