Once I saw that Snowbasin had finally gotten a decent dump from the last leg of this week's storm (13" overnight for a 72 hour total of 19"), I decided to go there. I didn't get as early a start as I should have (the friends I'm staying with live less than 15 miles away, but it took awhile to get there due to some snow on the road and a slowdown in the last mile or so). I started skiing at 10:00 AM and finished after 4:00 PM. I had a great day, despite having no real-time local guidance (although Evren did give me some useful advice in a post on the forum last night). I hit a reasonable amount of powder, especially in the trees. Elsewhere it was mostly cut up, but still skied well.
Edit: With Admin's help plus several backflips and jumping through hoops, I was able to get the pictures resized and uploaded in the proper order.
