OK, it's not skiing...but we were riding the lifts at a Utah ski resort. I figured y'all might like to see Snowbasin in the summertime.

I took my kid up to Snowbasin for some lift-served mountain biking today. It was a good deal: $12 for unlimited rides on the Needles gondi.

I'm a very inexperienced mountain biker, but I've got to say that these were the nicest trails I've ever been on. We made two runs, 1 down Needles (#1) and 1 down Porcupine (#3). (The trail map is here as a PDF file.) We had a blast. Each run is 7.5 miles long. Temps were in the upper 70s with a refreshing breeze under bluebird skies. In a word, perfect.

your kid is makin me look bad, can ski stuff i would never ski after over a year off of skiing, and can also do a bunny hop on a bike and i cant. What else can he do better than me? and the sad thing is im 2 years older than him...
