Day 100 in the books! No new snow when we arrived at 10:30 am but it was snowing lightly above tower 1. Skied Baldy Chutes down to the Wildcat lot and surprisingly good fun smooth snow in the chute. Alta has a TON more snow than the Bird. Alta goes top to bottom no problem, the Bird is a different story anything below big emma and lower Silver fox is tricky at best. Best way down to the bottom through the Gad Valley down to Big Emma then down across that cat track to the tram dock. Requires some walking, but we made it down in 10 minutes which isn't bad at all. When we left it really started to rain hard down in the Canyon, but looks like a couple of inches have fell up at the Bird by about 4pm.

Sad to say, but this weekend's likely it for da Bird. See the story in our news section.

Yeah they said on the Tram that this weekend "May be it for the season" but they will reevaluate come Monday. From the looks of the lower Mountain they should be closed tomorrow. Little Cloud is still more than ok as is Regulator.
