I started with the usual Ed Meisner Iron Blosam group up the tram well after 10AM. We skied Chips with a few of us diverting to Green Forest. Though I had said we would meet admin at the top at 11AM, Ed and his group headed over to Gadzoom. Thus only Adam, Ben, Mark Meisner, Eddie and I joined admin, BobbyD and AmyZ. We took 2 laps out the Knucklehead Traverse, the second with diagonal step-ups at the end to get a few turns in Friday’s leftover powder.

We went up Little Cloud again, took a crunchy traverse to the Upper Cirque where most of us skied Shot 11. When we got back up top it was almost 1PM. Adam and friends skied to mid-Gad for lunch with our Iron Blosam group while I followed admin and company up Baldy and into Alta for lunch at Watson’s.

After lunch we returned to Snowbird via Keyhole, which was soft packed powder if you stayed skier’s left to avoid areas hit by Saturday’s sun. We returned the top via Gadzoom and Little Cloud chairs, not finding any of the Iron Blosam group but meeting rdwore, Arnie, Kay and Paul. Most of us then skied the Upper Cirque (Shot 12 for me this time).

We rode a final tram, admin, AmyZ and BobbyD headed back to Alta while I took another Cirque run with rdwore & company. I skied Diagonal Chute this time, then took a couple of pics of them in Middle Cirque.

I skied 23,800 vertical with the varied groups of the day. I was lazy with the camera as I figured admin would be putting up a report. That hasn’t happened presumably due to his higher priority battle with the hackers, so I decided to put up mine.

Ben gave me hundreds of pictures from Sunday and Monday, but I haven’t reviewed them yet.

Thanks for leaving me out of the group....meany O:) I was with you too....

fun day...I dont ski snowbird all that much anymore, but boy did I have a fun time. Short lines (one of the reasons i dont head over much anymore) great snow, great weather, and great people. I don't miss it all that much but it was fun to rip around there for the day with friends.

Mea culpa. #-o This is what can happen when I ski with multiple groups and don't get around to the report until 4 days later. I will make no attempt to enumerate the group of 13-15 I skied with Monday.
