Day 10: Lather, rinse...repeat.

So, how was the snow pack? The surface? The weather? The crowd? The photos? See yesterday's report, for today was a carbon copy. Firm, fast, and (yes) fun again.

OK, a couple of things were different. For one, AmyZ was along today so I wasn't skiing alone. We were there at the opening bell instead of mid-day. OK...that's about the whole list of differences.

Once again I didn't see a single person venturing off the groomed runs today. It turns out that Snowbird patrol closed the Mid-Cirque Traverse due to thin cover, not firm cover (confirmed with patrol). So we were still hemmed into the same terrain that we were yesterday. We'd alternate Hidden Peak->Gad Valley->Gadzoom->Tram->Chip's to try to mix things up as best we could, and by 11:30 a.m. we had logged ~15,000 quick verts.

Because everything was so similar I wasn't even motivated to shoot photos today, and just took two quick cell phone snaps from the Tram:

Back to Alta tomorrow. The weather models are still in disagreement about our possible late weekend storm. We could sure use it.
