Tracked out, but gorgeous. If you really, really sniffed you could find a couple of fresh turns. I didn't have too much time to sniff today, however, for we didn't hit the slopes until 1:15 (flew out this a.m.). Not crowded. Anything untracked is thigh-deep. <BR> <BR>Got here just in time, before 2 avalanches closed the canyon road. <BR> <BR>Some photos: <BR> <BR>From Mid-Gad: <BR><IMG SRC="http://www.firsttracksonline.com/discus2/messages/9/3528.jpg" ALT="From Mid-Gad"> <BR> <BR>Gad Valley from summit: <BR><IMG SRC="http://www.firsttracksonline.com/discus2/messages/9/3529.jpg" ALT="Gad Valley from summit"> <BR> <BR>Peruvian Gulch: <BR><IMG SRC="http://www.firsttracksonline.com/discus2/messages/9/3530.jpg" ALT="Peruvian Gulch"> <BR> <BR>Tomorrow: The Interconnect!

Yeah, sunday was super deep at alta. Face shots all day long. Definitely in the top 3 of the season. Monday wouldve been truely incredible at alta because they didnt have any avalanche areas open sunday. That means ballroom, backside, glory hole, supreme bowl, catherines and the kastle were all untracked. I wanted to go bad, but couldnt. Kastle woulve had over 4ft of powder piled up. Later this week we get into some moist NW flow, the mtns should see some on and off snow for a few days.
