Day 59: Damned late spring snowstorms
They keep screwing up our corn cycles. I should've gone up earlier today, but I didn't. Oh, well, I lost one, but I saw 5" overnight and figured that it wouldn't be enough to cover up the crust. It was dense enough that it did. So dense, in fact, that the second you made a turn it instantly left bowling-ball sized balls of crud in your wake. Untracked was good, where you could find it. The rest of it was ridiculously dense piles of sludge.
I took two runs, one tram and one Little Cloud.
Rumor has it that it was better earlier. Even on the last run, though, Tele Jon was raving about how good it was...which left me wonder what kind of 'shrooms he's growing. Tomorrow should be better.
Oh, and when the kid cleaned out the truck last week, I hadn't realized that he removed my poles. A big shout-out to Christy Sports on the Tram Plaza, who loaned me a pair gratis. Thanks, guys!
