Still Snowing in Utah

FYI, the NWS is reporting 14" new at Alta's Collins snow plot as of 3pm this afternoon and it's still coming down. Of course it'll be oatmeal by the time I'm able to get up there Saturday morning. I want a corn cycle, dammit!

2" here at my house @5000 ft and coming down hard when I left for work this morning. The rain/snow line was barely below my house and it's all gone now.

It's still snowing here too. I got another good pow day today with 6" new overnight. We have a healthy 158''/170" snowpack with more due next Monday after a sunny weekend. The season total is 551" (per the website) and with this meritime snowpack we won't be backpacking until August. To heck with corn, I say more powder!

Haven't posted in quite a while been really busy with work but boy was today fun over at snowbird. I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be twice as nice with some sunshine. Only took two pictures today but I'll be sure to take some tomorrow.

Just today it's now snowing in Colo. An inch or two on the grass here in Denver so far, with 8-16" predicted for Central Mtns...

We'll see if enough actually falls to head back out one more time (the last two predicted storms were busts in the mtns - at least for A-Basin)

17" today, more predicted for tomorrow, and I'm up there Saturday, the day after that.
