How did everyone do?

Belleayre's reporting 27 inches and they tend to be honest. Windham's claiming 18... I'll be there Sunday and Monday for sloppy seconds.

Up here at Jay they are reporting 16-20, more like 14ish. Gotta love those ''Jay Inches''. Skiing was good though. Maybe 10-12 here at the house in Montgomery.

ccskier, appreciate the jay update. i was puzzled when i checked their snow report after i got home from mrg. mrg posted 16-20 but i think that is through saturday as well as friday night posted at 4p today. 16" does sound just about right, and just as i left, the NW winds were picking up lofting snow over the ridge, gotta love it.

The snow at Jay was fairly dry, dense enough to cover the hard pack underneath but light enough so you could maintain speed. Excellent day.

Yeah their 20-24 is outrageous. I believe 16 all together, tops. I left the mt at 3:15, just drove back by and it is snowing pretty good again.

24" reported at Hunter...after 2 days of skiing it, I'd say it was pretty accurate.

Mountain went from scraped boilerplate to epic mid-winter conditions. Everything was fair game this weekend.

I'm going to be hard pressed to think of a better March than 2007...5 pow days in the MRV, then a weekend like this past one.

Can hardly move today.

While Gore reported 12" on saturday, I'd say it was more like 8-10" in most places and some areas drifted to 15" or more.

Sunday there was maybe another 4-5" and more in some places.

I skied knee deep in many places (but not on the trails).

I'm guessing Gore had 15" from Friday night and 5" on Sat night.

When I got to our placed there were 3" in the porch and I swear I swept 6 inches aside twice.

Ancient links purporting to prove otherwise put aside, I think Feb and March have been primo too.

Funny about perceptions of snow depth.

Mark reported 15" at Gore...I'd say there were places with 15" but that was not the average. I'd say 10" average with more and less in various places.

Lies felt like a good foot or more, and in the woods we'd find a foot or more, but most of the slopes didn't feel like more than 10"

Sharon,

Could be the fisherman's ruler than I used, or maybe my distorted perception from powder Euphoria?
