Very very very crowded. Note trail rule of 3's. Only skied Perry/Gondolier..only one run, thank you. BUT the snow was surprisingly GOOD considering the wx situation and the crowds...EXCEPT for that dratted Merry Peril at the top. I do hate that spot. The crowds were the real problem...and our son said Lord was jammed full.. Some snow fell last night (1"). Some more tonight looks like. <BR> <BR>Lotsa smiley beginner faces at Spruce. Lots of Humungo SUVs and NJ/NY license plates too. Looked like the biggest day on the mountain for crowds yet. Beautiful day. <BR> <BR>Gotta say the snowmaking on PM and Gondolier was better than I'd ever expected. Gondolier was especially good. PM just needed more traffic to break the grooming up a bit.. But gawd, it was dangerous out there for the bombers flying by as I worked on getting my 2nd day act together - the first day didn't really do me any good - it was too lame and last year I hardly skied. Excuses, excuses I know.
