An inch or more breakable crust over 3-4" wet snow on top of <BR>hard icy base. <BR> <BR>But when those spots got skied some -- not so much that they were <BR>scraped bare, but skied enough to grid up the crust, it was OK. <BR> <BR>Key good spots: Parts of Nosedive, Cliff trail, even Gondalier. Lower <BR>National. Parts of Slalom Glade. <BR> <BR>Key bad spots: middle National. Woods. Upper Liftline. Parts of Slalom Glade. <BR> <BR>Real thick fog on top. Next to nothing visibility. High winds. <BR>Blowing snow. These are all good things, mind you. <BR> <BR>Like I said, OK. But no powder picnic.
