Arrived at the Gondi a little after nine. Winds were brisk but temps were pleasant, about 3-4" of wind packed powder. Woods were in great shape throughout the day, though snow got a little heavy later on, down low. My woods technique in areas that I'm not sure needs work. Since Josh doesn't drive I did need to be cautious, but that might be more of an excuse. We both enjoyed Angel food, (me twice) he went down Pipe Line and Look Out glade, and I did Tres Amigoes and a part of Look Out Glade, (I think) slowly. Upper Starr and Upper Goat were both open, but only with snow on the left 20-25% of the trail. As someone passing me said Goat was living up to its name (you had to hop like one to get down.) But after the cut in from Lift Line the rest was well covered with sweet bumps. Temps kept the powder soft, though traffic made things slick in the afternoon on the snow made trails. We both enjoyed the Web Cafe where we e-mailed back home. On the way back to Ludlow we stopped in Waitsfield at Johnny Egans Big World Pub for some burgers. I recommend, nice atmosphere and good food.
