Not quite shorts weather but pretty dam close. Blue Jay all day. No lift lines all day. I was in search of the corn mogul and was not disappointed. I took the Gondi to the top and headed down to Slalom Glade. Lots of corn moguls with some strange lines. The lower head wall was sweet on the skiers left with lots of twigs sticking through. Next was Upper and Lower Spruce. Sweet corn moguls top to bottom. It was getting warmer so I headed back to the lodge to take off some clothes and then headed over to Kidderbrook area to check out some woods, Bear Down, and Free Fall. The Kidderbrook chair wasn't running which wasn't good. That meant that I would have to take mile long run outs to the Sun Bowl chair. Then go to one of the six pack detachables to get back to the top. I headed towards Bear Down. Not a sole was seen anywhere. It was strange not seeing anyone until I got to the bottom of the Sun Bowl. Bear Down was very sweet with some thin coverage that made it even more fun. The long run out and the two chair ride wasn't worth it so I headed back over to the Snow Bowl area. I did Spruce to Shredwood. The woods were very sweet with soft corn and very good coverage but more obstacles as you lowered in elevation. I never saw a single person in the woods. I did Upper Spruce to Shredwood to Lower Spruce with a few Slalom Glades thrown in until the legs just wouldn't cooperate anymore. I can't get enough of that candy corn.
