With all the shitty weather we've been having over the weekend (two days of heavy rain) I have to praise Stratton for doing a superb job of snowmaking. Even the mighty Killington had to close but Stratton stayed open. Not only did it stay open, but unlike Okemo the day before, it had almost no bare spots! My only complain is that they closed early (at 2 o'clock, mostly due to lack of souls - I think there were about 10 or so of us) because I was actually enjoying riding that day immensely.
