Anyone know about how the lift lines measure up compared to Alpine Meadows, Kirkwood, Heavenly at Sugar Bowl? Anyone familiar with the ski patrol there? A friend and I are thinking of transferring to that patrol. Anyone know how friendly they are to non-male patrollers? Sorry, the patrol is male dominated. I don't like being very assertive like some of my female patrol friends. I just hang with the nice guys to avoid the rock and roll (conflict). It works for me. Carol, CA

I have no ideas about patrol inter-sex relations. :?

Heavenly has long liftlines on the main quads up high in my book (10 min). Alpine can be busy on the weekend mornings. Kirkwood less so.

Sugar Bowl. Lincoln Peak (main vertical lift) can have a line all day on weekends(5-15min). The other lifts are a little busy in the mornings and not really after lunch.

The biggest problem with Sugar Bowl can be access on the weekends - esp after snowfall. I have waited 30 min to exit 80 while traffic merges from both east 80(Tahoe skiers) and west 80 (Sac-town daytrippers) to the access road. The backway from Truckee was closed.
