Really, really nice. Nasty thunderstorms (and a rumored tornado in Richmond, later explained as a wicked downdraft) washed away a lot of snow, but there was plenty still left as far as I was concerned. Soft spring snow: a phat ski day. Big happy moguls. Lots of people on Downdraft, but not real crowded elsewhere. Choice runs were Spillsville and Ripcord. Skied a run down the latter with D. Bogan: that was fun, too. Can't wait to do it all again. <BR> <BR>Pretty strange -- in just one week, we went from early Autumn to mid winter to late spring. A season full of conditions in a matter of <BR>days.
