Another free pass from a friend. The major bummer of the day was that Castlerock was closed due to mechanical problems on the lift. I went to Ellen to dodge the maddening crowds and was greeted with no liftlines whatsoever. After a couple hours, I headed back to South and went looking for powder. I found it in Paradise Woods. Some very tight lines had been skied through there through some nice pow. The rest of the mountain was typical Christmas week - very crowded and getting icy quickly throughout the day. Revenge of the porcelain gods! I got my money's worth, though!
