After all the stories I had heard about the powder on Wednesday being so light, I turned down 2 subbing jobs to ski on Thursday. By the time I had arrived at Sugarbush (11:00) there was only mushy stuff on the trails. I had a great time- it was warm and springy, but certainly not powdery. Even the woods seemed too heavy to ski- especially since I was alone. With temperatures creeping up as we enter April, I guess more than ever before get out there as soon as you can. Those powdery days aren't lasting as long as they used to. Luckily there's more on the way!!!
