We spent a mellow afternoon in the sunshine, soaking up rays and just a few bumps intermixed with several easy cruisers from the summit. Coverage was quite adequate, snow depth was considerably more shallow than Stowe -- but considering the spring like temperatures, who needs bottomless slush?

The resort had something of ghost town feel to it, but every one who made the effort to get out there seemed to be having a good time, ourselves included.

Our man Rod at Stowe indicates that they'll keep the Quad turning until April 23. Propaganda flyers at da Bush indicate they're pushing until May 1. Fifty eight and still counting: I might hit 60 days yet this season.
