We went down 100 cause it was so nice out yesterday .. and whaddaya know, there was still snow up there. I half jokingly asked, "Can I ski"? She said yes ... what could I do?

Drive up was pretty rough, but as far as I can tell we didnt touch down on any of the waterbars (there must have been 8000 of them). The section under the upper chair and the last 200ft to the summit were the worst. Dunno how I ever made it up there with the Grey Mule. In 4wd low, creeping along, it probably took us 40 min.

There is a good deal of snow on the top 3/4 of FIS, with a bare spot running across near the bottom and another good patch below it that goes across Rimrock, or whatever that intermediate trail is you get dumped out on. Good boot ladder on climbers right. I made two runs and she made one.

Nice smooth corn with a few old tracks and bumplets here and there. It seemed deep and hard enough to hang around for at least another 4 or 5 days, but I'd imagine that bare patch will get bigger and there was a shallow section halfway through the bigger patch that might get thin as well.

You Burlingtonites oughtta take advantage of what's left. We didnt get off the hill till like 8:30, and there was still enough light to ski, so it's totally doable after work. Even if you hike up it's only like an hour and a half walk.
