My wife and I were there today. It was actually very nice, nicer than we expected. We got on the slopes about 9:45, and there probably weren't more than 25-30 people out skiing at that time. It got more crowded as the day went on, but never had any lift line of more than 1 or 2 chairs.

The snow was was very nice. Skier's right of T2 was well skied up, and the coverage was good, with only a few bare spots. Skier's left was more or less untracked, and for good reason. It was wet freshly made snow, and it was getting hit by the sun. It was definitely mashed potatos, and unless you were going warp speed, it sucked you up pretty quickly.

All in all, any skiing this early is good, and this was very nice. I'm sure there'll be quite a few more people around this weekend, so it was nice to get an uncrowded day in.

Bring on more cold weather!
