But if you want the goods, come to this part of the world, where we've been skiing on 100% natural snow since November 7th. Base is now around 130 cm. It's been so fine, I had my pass paid off by November 22.

Yesterday the good vibes continued: around 15cm new and patchy sun. Skiied Goat's Eye, where a blue cruiser in good shape takes you off the top, then cat-tracks across a series of black diamond drops. On-piste there were clean lines all day, with hardly anyone around. All lifts are now open.

We skiied recently with a guy from Massachusetts who was totally blown away; he had been hoping to make a few turns on some sort of marginal surface, but wasn't prepared for what he found. It was freshies all day, in bounds and out, and full-on winter conditions.

More snow is on the way. We're setting up for another killer season, but why not? Canada rocks.
