Saw this and called - $3900 CAD / $2900 USD

5 days/6 nights/meals at the original snowcat operation in BC (they had terrain choice). Definitely one of the best - so I've read.

Why heli for 2 days or snowcat for 3 days….when you can get a week during the prime season?! Tempted to dump Europe.

Yes that is a great deal! I've inquired a couple of times at Selkirk Wilderness but never found an opening. The great deal is of course due to the extremely short notice. That's how we scored a half price liveaboard scuba trip in Cuba in 2017 but we had a whole month notice on that one.

Yeah, I cannot really swing it. Too close to the new year kickoff, but it MLK long weekend. Sent out to some friends to see if someone could get it.

But it's hard to get a space there - or any of the top snowcat places in BC.

Sure it will be gone by tomorrow....

For example:

Stellar heli-ski has a seat open for a 3-day trip starting Jan 13th. No discount.
Told them the should at least price match Selkirk with 5days/6nights the same dates.

The Selkirk trip sold Monday. Lonnie is in Salt Lake at SIA for the start of another extended road trip that may get into Canada. I didn't tell him about Selkirk until Tuesday night.

I forget the numbers but Mustang does apparently discount late notice open spots - but only super short notice. Something along the lines of 30% off 48 hours notice and 50% off 24 hours notice... not easy to get to to take advantage even if you want; unless you are within driving distance really...

I'm on the Mustang list - no discounts really. I think some in the early season when lodge is not full.
