Northern NM offers awesome conditions! Past 3 day storm provided Angel Fire and Sipapu with 19" new snow each. Taos sports 26" fresh with this mornings report. Angel Fire offers NM's only hiogh speed quads. Sipapu offers least costly lift tickets in area (stop at Inn and get discount coupons).

Taso has weather quite independent from most western ski areas, even the ones in southern Colorado. In some recent years, last year in particular, that has been to its detriment, being left high and dry when its Colorado neighbors were getting dumped on.
Since Christmas this season it's been the other way around. This is the 3rd Taos storm of 2+ feet since then which has affected very few other ski areas. Wolf Creek is one of the few areas to share most of these storms, as it will suck in nearly everything coming from the south.
I'm pleased that I will be skiing Taos Feb. 23-24 this year.
