Taos, NM, 1/14/07 @ 4 PM, 11" last 24 hours

Taos has now had 126 inches snow, 114% of normal. The 55 inch base is not as much as I'd like to see, but I'd be very grateful to see it at Mammoth now. Taos' policy of opening steep runs on a rotating basis will ensure at least some steep skiing until the base gets up to the 80 inch benchmark, likely not too far into February.
