The sun appeared for a day or two in late March so we decided to end the day with a run into Bear Creek - a nice 4500+ vert off-piste drainage into town.



Again, this is now about a 10 min hike. It's on par with anything in Europe...

It just stair steps away.....

And again.....

The best part is Telluride.....stumbling into a friend of friend's crayfish fest. Fresh from the Gulf. (They order too much).

I can still kick myself for not requesting a tour of Bear Creek during the NASJA annual in late March 2004. #-o

However, it had not not snowed for nearly 4 weeks when we arrived, so perhaps the lower part would have been a PITA.
