Just wanted to give an update on snow in SW Colorado.

The SW got hit by storms that Central CO and Utah did not -- there is a good / legitimate 20-25" base as of Dec 1st. Not quite enough to ski on - but just needing a storm or two.

I skied 2 days - all snowmaking runs. Nice temps in the 40s. Good friends. But nothing special. I do not have ski pics. Some dog and girlfriend pics will need to suffice.

After the recent dump on 12/08/09, Telluride is now up to nearly 80" of snow with a near 40" base -- making for an average Christmas.

The storm the last two days had a similar pattern. Though Telluride's trail count is still low like most of Colorado.

Gorgeous Mountains for sure. The town is really right there!
