A weird storm moved in on Saturday. And continued for Sunday.
Sat
The snow line was at about at town level - 8750'. However, the fun ended around 1:30 pm when thunder/lightening snow moved into the area. Chair 9 was getting hit by lightning repeatedly. It closed. But the skies cleared for the last 2 hours - and things were good again.
Sunday
The snow continues...unfortunately. About 6-10" over the day. Powdery on top - a little manky at the base. However, this is closing day - costumes, bands, parties do not like new snow.
Yuck. New snow ruining my day.
Yeah. It's that bad.
Take the guy for instance (my bro)
Snow is giving him a totally bad hair day.
She is having a worse day
This guy literally and figuratively is freexing his nuts off in a kilt.
Even the corporate sponsor of closing day looks a little glum
