Not as much snow as I had hoped for....about 8-12 inches by my late arrival at 11:00 AM. There were about 30 cars in the lot and plenty of powder! Tenney is kind of flat in places (around the summit), but I was able to ski most terrain without serious slowdowns. Steeper trails such as Sweet William, Venus Flytrap and Hornet (double chair fall line) were just a blast. Great base underneath and plenty of powder to jump around in. The woods at Tenney are really underated. Hardwoods glade and Hornet Glades were my favorites. I've skied the woods at Burke (also underated) and Jay and I can honestly say that Tenney holds their own....albeit not as much acreage. Great pitch, fairly spacious, but still tight in places. Of course...the snow was great in the woods today. The quirky trail layout makes Tenney ski much larger than it is. Very interesting terrain...friendly staff too. If you're looking for high speed lifts...Tenney is not for you. The summit double moves along quickly, but it's certainly not a high speed quad! That's ok by me...my legs needed a rest today! In short...Double diamond bump and extreme skiers may be a bit bored at Tenney, but the intermediate and advanced cruisers are interesting and worth skiing (I'm a strong skier), especially if you are trying to avoid the crowds and ski cheap.

just curious, i've never been there, but have easy access to it... do they have any bump runs at all?... thanks for any response... pitches?
