Day 5: Happy Thanksgiving!
It is, indeed, now that after three days last weekend in flat light we had bluebird skies for today's holiday. Bobby Danger, Skidog and I hooked up with Sam, Dean and after a few runs Cam, a New Hampster who worked as an Alta liftie until this season. Runs of the day were out on Baldy Shoulder and a first few trips of the season out Backside. West Rustler below the Saddle Traverse was smooth and chalky, but the same couldn't be said for dropping into it off of the High Traverse for the upper part was still rather stiff and required some judicious line choice. The High T, too, is now showing a few chocolate chips showing through in places that require a bit of care.
Hopefully it'll snow again by Sunday if this next storm doesn't skirt by too far to our north. They're now hinting, however, at a pattern change by the end of the month.
I rebooted my phone while riding Sugarloaf so today's track is split in two.
