some 40deg. chute in the North Bridgers. beatiful sunny day. high 60's and 70's. wet and heavy corn, but still ok non-the-less. for out first run there were a lot of people at the top. probably 12 or so. anxious to drop in, i ate quick and dropped in. conditions were a little bumpy, but still manueverable.

Nice! It's rare that mountain goats are that accepting of people nearby.

Beautiful pics, Hammy!

yes. it's in the North Bridger range. you hike from Fairy Lake. the road to Fairy Lake starts about 10 miles past Bridger Bowl ski area and goes back in the woods about 7 miles to the Lake. high clearance vehicle on this road helps. road is not open during the winter, but i have skinned back there to hit another place (Frazier Basin). there's endless amounts of terrain back there in the winter. access is kind of hard without a sled though.

the chute was almost bumped up towards the end of the day yesterday too. probably another 2 weeks tops, and the snow will all be gone. then the wait begins for next year.......

Nice report Hammy! I love the goats! Wish we had that sort of wildlife around here to greet us at the top of Pipeline! I hope you diddnt get any goat doody on your gear!
