Tremblant snow

FYI to all present, and no offense to you, Don, messages such as these are best placed in the Resorts section of Liftlines rather than in the No-Bull Reports, which are really reserved for ... well ... No-Bull Reports.

However, that said, I'll violate my own rule and reply here for consistency.

Experience has shown that during difficult early winters, the big snowmaking powerhouses in New England open a lot more terrain a lot faster than their Québecois neighbors, including Tremblant. Also, Tremblant receives very little natural snowfall, relatively speaking, so this is a big deal. However, many times Tremblant can make snow when warm air prevents resorts further south from doing so.

Look at this season as an example of my point. Québec areas had a much tougher go of it in mid-December when the weather was positively frightful in the Northeast.
