Utah guide needed

We're a group of 6 intermediate to almost advanced snowboarders who have been dreaming about powder (while skiing on packed snow and ice;-) for a couple of years .

We're gonna be in Utah, probably staying in Park City, from Feb 11th to 17th. To fully experience what the mountains in this area can offer us, we'd like to hire a guide, someone who knows these mountains and could snowboard with us, showing us where to go to catch as much powder as possible, safely (an avalanche is not our idea of an exciting time) and within our physical limits (we're all aged from 28-34 and our respective employers would prefer if we didn't injure ourselves!).

Some mountains offer guides at 700$/day. Unfortunately, we cannot pay that amount in addition to airfare, lodging, lift tickets, etc. We are willing to negotiate a reasonable compensation for the person who would accept bringing us to the best spots and snowboarding with us. We don't know which mountain we'll snowboard on yet, we'll just follow the snow.

We're laid back, easy to be around and we all use a good conditioner :-)

So if anyone could refer us to the good person/company/website, we'd greatly appreciate it.

I may have the guy for you. A true Park City local and awesome skier. He actually runs a small in bounds tour operation at all of the local mountains. My only question for him is whether or not he would guide snowboarders only because he is a skier and I'm not sure whether he brings boarders around. I'll speak with him tonight and mention this to him.

your best bet is to go to Powder Mtn and hire a guide there. They are very inexpensive, but you must get there early to get one.

I also think that most of the resorts have host/guide services. Just give a call. Definitely check out Brighton...it is the snowboard mtn of Utah. You may be able to hook up with locals there...make some friends.
