After the rain all over the province, in the last days, I didn't think a ski day could be great, in Montreal region ... Well, I was completely out of the track !! We went to Val Saint-Come, in Lanaudiere (northeast of Montreal) and we really got some fun ! Ok, I admit it was may be not the best day to ski into 20 inches of fresh powder, but there was almost no ice and the surface was a little bit like spring skiing, with snowfalls during all day, so the conditions were pretty good.

There was 16 trails open / 29, all them on the main side of the hill, and 3 glades were open. The upper part of Vasy Mollo was particularly interesting, with little powder and nice small bumps. .

For the off-trails, there is nice spots, on the mountain, especially on the second side of the hill (closed today), but there was some great stuff to ski, like this crazy little line, on the side of #2. Of course, there was some off-trails with nice snow and less grass !!

The glades and extreme terrain still need some snowfalls to be great to ski, but for a dec 22, it's enough good, as last year, same day, there was 3 trails open and about 0 natural snow on the ground !

Let's pray for heavy snowfalls !!!
